Lahore's Gaddafi Stadium has started getting ready for hosting three Asia Cup 2023 matches in September.
According to the hybrid model, Lahore will host three matches including a Super 4-stage contest. Multan, on the other hand, is set to host the tournament's opening encounter between Pakistan and Nepal.
Pitches for matches and square have been prepared especially for the Asian event. A bouncy pitch for practice has also been made with the help of Australian soil.
The first match in Lahore will be played between Bangladesh and Afghanistan on September 3. Afghanistan and Sri Lanka will play at this venue on September 5. The first match of Super 4s will also be played in Lahore on September 6.
