Pakistan’s Zaman Khan, known for his inch-perfect deliveries in death overs, once again fired Yorkers after Yorkers in the last over of the match between Montreal Tigers (MT) and Toronto Nationals (TN) on Monday in Brampton.
The match was shortened to six overs per inning due to rain and a wet outfield.
Tigers batted first and despite a very slow start, they picked up the pace and scored 66 runs in the next four overs.
As they were 75-1 at the conclusion of the fifth over, it seemed like a possibility that the Tigers will score 100, that is when Zaman was given the task to stop the runs.
Khan bowled his last over to Chris Lynn and Sherfane Rutherford.
The 21-year-old made it impossible for the two batters to connect with the ball with his accuracy and only conceded one run.

Even though the pacer’s first over was not up to the expectations as he conceded 18 runs but the 21-year-old made up for that with his skilful last over.
Lynn scored 38 off just 18 balls with five boundaries while his opening partner Mohammad Waseem contributed to the total with 24 off 14.
Nationals had a good start but they could not take advantage of it and ended up scoring just 54 runs in six overs for the loss of two wickets and a great game of cricket came to an end.
With the win, the Tigers strengthen their number one position in the points table with nine points while the Nationals were dropped to the fourth position with five points.
