The Pakistan Football Federation (PFF)'s normalisation committee chairman Haroon Malik ensured that elections will take place within days.
In a statement released by PFF today, Malik pledged that fair and transparent elections in PFF will be held within days.
"We have no favourites. We want free and fair elections to witness the genuine selection of a body that will effectively oversee the PFF affairs," he stated.
According to PFF NC's assurity, the election process will start very soon. Currently, FIFA team is analysing club data through the Pakistan Football Connect (PFC) platform which will also lead to fair and transparent elections for the national football body.
Malik also thanked FIFA's all-out support during the elections process. "I would like to thank FIFA for their unwavering support. They made sure of transparency during this process and stressed the utmost importance of upholding the Constitution," he said.
"Comprehensive support is being extended to the clubs to meet all statutory requirements, ensuring a smooth and transparent electoral process," he concluded.
