Real Madrid winger Vinicius Junior is the best dribbler in the world, ahead of the likes of Lionel Messi and Rafael Leo.

The 22-year-old Brazilian tops the list of most successful dribbles this season with 145 dribbles and a 38% success ratio.

AC Milan’s Rafael is the player with the second most successful dribbles. He has completed 106 dribbles with a 48% success rate.

Paris Saint German’s (PSG) Messi is the player with the third most successful dribbles. He has completed 105 dribbles with a 54% success rate, which is the highest among top-ten dribblers in the world.

Surprisingly, big names like Neymar Junior and Kylian Mbappe are missing from the list despite two of them being the best dribblers in the world.

The Real Madrid forward has been in the news for the entire season, but not only for his world-class dribbling but also because he has been consistently subjected to racial chants in the Spanish league La Liga Santander.

Earlier, Vinicius was targeted with racist chants during his side’s 4-2 defeat at Girona’s stadium in April.

Vinicius was also targeted with racist abuse during at Real Mallorca stadium in March.

Spanish police are investigating a January incident where an effigy of Vinicius was hung from a bridge in front of the club´s training ground before Real Madrid faced Atletico Madrid in the Copa del Rey on January 27.

Spanish police have also identified 6 Atletico Madrid ultras that hung the Vinicius doll under a bridge, as per the Spanish newspaper El Confidencial.

Atletico fans were filmed chanting racist abuse at Vinicius in September 2022 but Madrid prosecutors did not press charges.

In December after being abused during a win at Real Valladolid Vinicius hit out at La Liga for continuing "to do nothing" about racists at Spanish matches.

"Racists keep going to games and watching the greatest club in the world up close and La Liga continues to do nothing," Vinicius said.

"I will carry on with my head held high and celebrating my victories and those of Madrid."
