Pakistan Shaheens' captain Imran Butt believes that all the players will have an opportunity to perform in Zimbabwe and make comeback in the national team.
Speaking to media on the last day of Shaheens' camp ahead of Zimbabwe tour, Butt said they have worked on both formats equally.
"We have worked on both formats in the camp," he said. "The players are gelled up and worked hard in the camp. I am sure this tournament is going to be excited for us," he added.
Shaheens will tour Zimbabwe to play two four-day and six 50-over games. As many as 16 squad members participated in the camp which concluded today at National Stadium Karachi.
Butt, who has played six Tests for Pakistan, knows the importance of Zimbabwe tour for everyone.
"Shaheens' tours are so important. Players get an opportunity to make comeback in the national team. Also, the national team gets some new faces," he highlighted.
"It is a good sign that we have mostly domestic performers on our side. They have experience of playing and I am sure we will have a good series there," he added.
It must be noted here that all players will spend Eid at their homes before returning to Lahore for their departure. They will gather in Lahore on April 28 to leave for Zimbabwe on April 30.
