The Pakistan Super League (PSL) season nine has entered its decisive phase where every match is of utmost importance in the race to playoffs.
Multan Sultans have qualified for the playoffs which will begin in the National Bank Stadium, Karachi, on March 14 while Quetta Gladiators and Peshawar Zalmi have one step inside the eliminators.
If we start looking at individual stats, Peshawar Zalmi’s skipper Babar Azam tops the most runs chart with 394 runs to his name from seven matches.

2- Reeza Hendricks 304 runs, 8 innings
3- Rassie van der Dussen, 300 runs, 6 innings
4- Mohammad Rizwan, 277 runs, 8 innings

Looking at bowling stats, Multan Sultans’ duo of Usama Mir and Mohammad Ali occupy the first two spots which comes as no surprise as the 2021 PSL are once again dominating the league.

3- Hasan Ali, 13 wickets, 7 innings

Meanwhile, Peshawar Zalmi’s explosive opener Saim Ayub tops the most sixes chart as the left-handed has been Zalmi’s one of the most important players this season.

Similar to the previous edition, the ninth edition of the PSL will unfold in two legs. The matches from February 17 to 27 took place at Multan Cricket Stadium and Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium, hosting a total of 14 matches.
The cricketing action then shifted to Rawalpindi’s Pindi Cricket Stadium and Karachi’s National Bank Stadium, where 16 matches will be played from February 28 to March 12. The tournament will conclude in Karachi with the playoffs.
