The T20I series between West Indies and England has been remarkable for the cricket fans.
The series stands at 2-2 with the final match yet to be played. The most fascinating aspect is the high-scoring nature, where both teams' batters have displayed aggressive cricket, showing no mercy to the bowlers.
A total of 108 sixes have been struck in the four games, setting a record for the most in any bilateral series. This series marks the first time that more than 100 sixes have been hit in a T20I series.
In the fourth T20I, Phil Salt's consecutive century propelled England to their highest T20 international score in a chaotic 75-run victory over West Indies, levelling the series.
Salt's outstanding 119 - the highest score by an England men's batter in the format - came from just 57 balls and included 10 sixes as the tourists reached 267-3.
Captain Jos Buttler hammered 55 from 29 balls, while Liam Livingstone contributed an unbeaten 54 from 21 at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Trinidad.
West Indies matched the imposing run-rate during their entertaining chase but lost wickets at regular intervals, eventually being bowled out for 192.
The hosts amassed 87 runs in the initial six overs, yet England maintained composure, staging a comeback by breaking crucial partnerships, with each bowler securing at least one wicket.
All-rounder Andre Russell's dynamic 24-ball half-century provided late hope for the hosts before he was dismissed in the 16th over by Reece Topley, who claimed figures of 3-37.
England, having bounced back from a 2-0 deficit, have levelled the series at 2-2, with the decider scheduled at the same venue on Thursday.
